Based at our Vehicle Maintenance Unit we have a position available to carryout commercial body repairs to a fleet of 100 vans, this role will play a key part ensuring repairs are carried out to standard and to ensure vans are repaired in a timely manner, reporting to the site manager your duties will be as follows, all painting work must be carried out off site due to H&S reasons so no body painting is required for this role.

Applicant must be able to demonstrate the following skills;

  • Carryout bolt on bolt of repairs to the vehicle, Wings, Mirrors, bumpers, grills & lights.
  • Replacement of body parts Door handles, trims rear steps, straps.
  • Fault finding and repair of simple electrical systems.
  • Replacement of built up wheels.
  • Carryout vehicle checks to ensure the fleet is kept to the required standard for the customer
  • Vehicle washing as and when required but minimal.
  • Attend breakdowns as and when required.
  • Windscreen repairs, replacement of glass windows.
  • Be able to support the customer demands, work with the team leaders and managers to ensure we provide a professional service.
  • Cover site manager duties when on annual leave.
  • Any other duties which is required for this operation.

Any applicant will require a full UK license, and must be flexible in working hours including occasional weekends when required, a company van, fuel card and phone including the relevant PPE will be supplied for your duties to be carried out.

Mobile Tail Lift Engineer

UK - North West

Description: 

You will be responsible for carrying out Service/LOLER, Annual Weight Tests and repairs to different types of Lifting Equipment, this will also include shutters services and repairs. Working remotely you will be responsible to making sure you deliver the service to our customers at our out base location.

Applicant must be able to demonstrate the following skills;

  • Lifting Equipment maintenance (LOLER Certification).
  • Fault finding and repair of simple electrical systems.
  • An understanding of hydraulic systems.
  • Shutter repairs.
  • Welding.
  • Management of stock control for parts assigned to your mobile vehicle.

Any applicant will require a full UK licence, and must be flexible in working hours including occasional weekends when required, a company van, fuel card and phone including the relevant PPE will be supplied for your duties to be carried out.
