Lawrence David has always been immensely proud of our in-house fabrication division. Formed in 1985 as “Roscope” and located in Corby, Northants, this arm of the Lawrence David Group was formed to serve both LD’s own product production but also it’s own customer base.
As demand increased, 2005 saw Roscope move to new premises in Kettering which doubled it’s capacity again serving both LD production and external customers – the demand on the production requirement then saw in the relocation to Peterborough alongside the rebrand of Roscope to Lawrence David Fabrications in 2021.
The 3 years that followed meant that LD Fabrications became fully integrated within LD’s Head Office & main production facilities to serve the increased capacity following the introduction of the ‘line assembly’. As efficiencies increase and with continued investment into LD Fabrications, 2024 has brought the opportunity to again maximise on our fabs division for both LD’s own & external customers needs.
