Load securing
Lawrence David offer a wide variety of Load Securing Options – ranging from our industry-leading ArmourSheet ‘Plus’ Curtains, through to Internal Net Systems and more. We believe that by understanding your operation, we can recommend a load securing system that will allow you to get the job done.
Unique Pillar-less Construction
Lawrence David’s Pillar-less Curtainsider has been engineered to offer maximum loading and unloading access. The body follows the slope of the trailer so there is no increase in the overall height of the vehicle and because there are no pillars, it is easier, safer and quicker to load and unload along the full length of the trailer.
All Bolted Construction
Our bodies are modular and built using ‘All Bolted Construction’. This has proven to increase the life of the trailers and makes them easier to repair as time passes. You simply unbolt the damaged part and bolt on a new one – it couldn’t be simpler.
Flexibly Mounted Front Bulkhead
All Bolted Construction’ allows us to mount the bulkhead flexibly. This increases the life of the trailer without compromising strength or quality of the final product.
Galvanised & Pre-finished Components
We pride ourselves on the quality of our finish and aim to offer the ultimate protection against the elements and eliminate rust by using galvanised and pre-finished components.
Stainless Steel Lawrence David Dual Locking Hands-Free Buckles
Originally patented by Lawrence David, these buckles are now standard throughout the industry. They are safer to use, stronger and easier to use than previous iterations.
Aerodynamic Front Deflector Option
We offer a variety of Aerodynamic options on all our builds. Not only do they help to reduce fuel consumption, they provide an alternate location to stow your straps and improve the aesthetics on your body.
Multiple Rear Closure Options
Your operation dictates our solutions. Depending on the cargo, we offer a variety of rear closure options to suit – from barn doors, for unbroken brand identity, to a cantilever tail-lift with or without a top-flap.
Full 3D Solid Modelling & Design
Our 3D Solid Modelling software gives us total control over the components used to build our bodies, so we know the parts fit right the first time. We manufacture most components ourselves – quality comes guaranteed.
Coupling Options
At Lawrence David we offer three types of coupling – Fixed, Sliding or our exclusive Curved Coupling. If you care about getting the most out of your trailers, we recommend the Curved Coupling – designed with health, safety and efficiency in mind.
Tail-lift Options
Depending on your operational requirements, we offer a variety of tail-lifts that will help you on the road. We work with most manufacturers and can fit tuck-away, slider, cantilever or column tail-lifts as required.

WARRANTY & RETURNS

Returns Policy
  • In the event that you would like to return any parts to us, you must notify us within 14 calendar days of your purchase. Failure to do this will result in your returns claim being rejected.
  • In the unlikely situation that you have been sent faulty or incorrect parts, again you must notify us within 14 calendar days of your purchase so that we can arrange collection of your parts at our cost. We will then organise a refund or replacement parts dependant on your preference.
  • Non-account refunds will be issued back to the original method of payment and will be processed no later than 14 calendar days after receiving your return.
  • If you have ordered incorrect parts or you would like to return any parts for any other reason than stated above, it will be your responsibility to organise the return of these parts at your own cost. Contact us if you wold like a quote for a collection.
  • All returned parts MUST be in good, re-saleable condition.
  • Responsibility of all parts will remain with you until all parts are received and signed for by a Lawrence David member of staff.
How do I return my parts?
  1. Please call us beforehand to notify us of any parts that you would like to return.
  2. Ensure that any returned items are sent via recorded delivery to obtain a proof of delivery should it be required.
  3. Ensure that the parcel(s) containing your returned parts are clearly marked with your company name and your order reference to ensure a speedy turnaround. A copy of the original delivery note with the goods would be ideal.

Warranty returns
  • Lawrence David offer a standard 1 year warranty on genuine LD parts. We do not offer direct warranties for any other parts offered on this site. However, most genuine parts offered do come with manufacturer warranties and we are happy to help liaise with the manufacturer of the part should you need to make a warranty claim.
  • Please note that Lawrence David will not cover any labour costs incurred under warranty. However, if the manufacturer is happy to accept liability under their warranty policy and is happy to reimburse any monies, we will duly pass this on.
  • Should you wish to discuss a warranty return then please do not hesitate to call us.
