Hertfordshire based P W Gates has just invested in a number of new curtainsided pillarless Lawrence David trailers some of which are fitted with tuck-away tail-lifts. All these new trailers are built to the exacting TÜV EN12642XL load securing safety standard and are equipped with load securing side nets.
10 of these new 13.6m trailers are now in operation and are all certified to the TÜV load securing standard. At a time where the focus of VOSA is even more on load securing the move by P W Gates to these TÜV certified trailers ensures maximum load stability.

Chris Lynch, the P W Gates Business Development Director, said:-
"The growing awareness of tighter load securing enforcement means that operators must stay ahead of the game. And, we must stay ahead of our competition. Safety and legal compliance is fundamental. Our customers want to know that their transport suppliers are compliant. And they understand even more what the TÜV safety accreditation means more pressure on all their suppliers to be compliant and meet the highest of safety standards both now and in the future."
He went on to say:-
"VOSA are well aware of those operators that both meet and exceed their legal obligations. Roadside checks, particularly for us in the London area, are more frequent than ever and displaying the TÜV Nord plate reflects our compliance to the latest load securing standards."
And why Lawrence David?
"Our business is all about quality delivery. Saying what we do and doing what we say. In Lawrence David we have found a partner sharing our values of quality and customer focus."
