Torque Logistics have recently chosen Lawrence David to supply them with two new GRP box trailers, specially built to carry hanging garments.
Both trailers are fitted with twenty-two pairs of captive garment rail tracks for hanging their products which are positioned between J-rails to simplify the hanging process. In order to protect the garments from damage the rear has a drip tray under the rear shutter to catch any dripping water from the shutter when open. To aid the loading and unloading processes, Lawrence David fitted the trailers with an Anteo tuckaway tail-lift which will ensure the procedure is completed quicker and easier.
In addition to the garment trailers, Torque Logistics ordered a double deck curtain-sider fitted with wrap around curtains at the rear to allow clear loading and unloading through the side. This trailer also had an adjustable second deck to accommodate pallets of varying size.
Lawrence David’s National Accounts Manager, Peter Naylor stated:-
"When Torque were searching for a trailer that can meet their criteria, they recalled a body which we had previously built for a different company and, impressed with what they saw. Torque chose Lawrence David to provide them with a similar design to maximise carrying capacity and speed up loading times."
