Essex based food ingredients producer EDME has recently collected two new EN-XL trailers from Lawrence David. The new trailers come at a great time for EDME, who picked up the two new trailers with two brand new Mercedes Actros tractor units supplied by East Anglia based supplier Orwell Trucks & Van.
Adding to an existing fleet of 7 trailers and 5 vehicles, the new trailers will be used throughout the EDME distribution network, transporting food ingredients across the U.K. and throughout Europe.
The 13.7M long straight frame, tri-axle trailers are TUV EN XL certified, meeting European load containment standards.
With Lawrence David Armoursheet-XL load bearing curtains, flush rear metal doors for eye-catching rear decals and matching rear chassis and under-run, these trailers really do stand out.
Lynne Smith, transport manager at Edme says:-
“The transport team take great pride in what they do. Without them, we’d have a factory full of product, and no way of getting it out! We know the product on the inside is great, so we want the outside of the lorries to reflect that. We think that’s been achieved.”
“Each year we move over twenty thousand tonnes of product, so our fleet is of the utmost importance. Our vehicles represent Edme, so of course we’re always excited to bolster their numbers, as it lets us better serve our customers.”
